On Sunday 28 June at 11.30am, Scleroderma Queensland will be settling in at Wilkes Family Park, Alexandra Headland for our Snuggle Up for Scleroderma community picnic. With sweeping ocean views, shady picnic shelters, playgrounds, barbecues and easy parking, it’s the perfect place to relax, share a meal and enjoy the company of others who care about making life better for people living with scleroderma.
Bring your favourite picnic food, your cosiest Snuggle Up gear, and the people who make you feel supported. Whether you’re living with scleroderma, caring for someone who is, or simply want to stand with our community, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
Music, Connection and Raising Awareness
We’re thrilled to be joined by the Sunshine Coast Show Choir, performing a selection of uplifting songs in support of one of their own members living with scleroderma. Their voices will help us raise awareness of a rare, complex autoimmune disease that affects skin and internal organs and is often misunderstood.
Events like this help us highlight the urgent need for better access to specialist care, multidisciplinary clinics and scleroderma nurses across Australia. Every person who attends helps amplify that message.
