How to Snuggle Up for Scleroderma!

June is World Scleroderma Awareness Month, and as the colder weather sets in, staying warm and cosy becomes more than just a comfort – it’s essential for many people living with scleroderma.

For those experiencing Raynaud’s phenomenon, the cold can be painful and difficult to manage, often making it hard to get out and take part in typical activities. That’s why this campaign is all about embracing warmth, staying in, and finding simple ways to connect and give back.

Easy ways to take part

To support Snuggle Up, you might:

  • Host a slumber party or movie night
  • Invite friends for a cosy afternoon tea (think gloves, scarves, and warm drinks!)
  • Organise a casual or comfy clothes day at work

Because many in our community can’t take on physically demanding challenges, Snuggle Up is something everyone can be part of – simply by slowing down, staying warm, and raising awareness.

I’m taking part in the Snuggle Up for Scleroderma campaign this June.

People living with scleroderma often struggle with the cold due to painful circulation issues.

I’m getting cosy and raising funds to support Scleroderma Australia.

Please donate if you can – every dollar makes a difference.

Tip: Taking a video of yourself in your favourite beanie, gloves and scarf is an engaging way to get people involved.
